During my senior year in high school, I took Advanced Biology. Science is not one of my strong suits, but I liked the teacher. We were instructed at the beginning of the year to choose a partner and then an animal. The entire first semester was spent researching and presenting information on this animal. My partner (I chose wisely - he was the valedictorian) wanted to do tenrecs. And tenrecs we did. :) 2) My parents have called me "chickadee" since, they say, I was conceived. My husband has modified it slightly and calls me "bird." 3) The description you gave of your wife sounds very similar to how my husband describes me.
